Chardonnay 2023 Single vineyard BERCE

Chardonnay – comes from a single vineyard. The vines grow on 100% marl soil. The vines grow on terraced terrain, exposed to the Vipava bora wind, facing slightly to the south, which allows for longer exposure to sunlight. It is an extremely airy location. However, since the conditions are extremely problematic due to the Vipava bora wind, nature provides us with very small yields per vine, which is consequently of superior quality. The wine exudes the unique character of the vineyard, as it reflects the microclimatic conditions, soil composition, identical processing conditions, altitude and other local factors. The harvest is done manually, which allows for additional control over the grapes – damaged berries are carefully removed.
